The District Assembly celebrated her farmers very much as they commemorated the 37th Farmers day. The celebration that took place at the Ahenkro school park saw the presence of the Member of parliament, The District Chief Executive, the Chief of Nkwantakese, the Chief of Ahenkro, Staff of the assembly, the hard working farmers and cross section of the public.
The DCE in his speech congratulated all farmers for their continual contribution to the economy and encouraged them not to relent in their work. The DCE also took the opportunity to enumerate some projects that the district is embarking on and asked all to support in the developmental agenda.
