This programme was organized and implemented to sensitize members of the necessary documents one has to hold before commencing a physical project be it a church, hotel or house. This occasion was used to educate the members on the reasons why one has to pass through the various stages for any constructional work in the district.
During the occasion, the facilitator informed the members that, all these documents which includes ESIA, SEA, and EPA permits are very essential in constructional works as experts from the various organizations makes in depth research about the particular project to avert future calamities.
He advised all members that, the act of building haphazardly in the district without permits should be stopped. He added that, the institutions exist not to impose pressure on anyone but to guide all in tuning to the right direction in our construction works for future safety of live and properties. All the various stakeholders contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
Birth and Death Unit is responsible for issuing of Birth and Death certificate to individuals within and outside the District.
