The programme was organized and implemented to create awareness on the need to secure the lives and properties of the people in the district. This is to maintain law and order and to prevent anarchy in the various communities in the district.
The facilitator informed the members that, the Assembly in collaboration with the security agencies are working towards eliminating crime and its related robbery issues in the various communities in the district. He said, for peace and stability to prevail in the district, the security agencies like the police and Immigration should be on course and combat all heinous activities in the district.
He said, maintenance of law and order which is key in the development of any country rest on the shoulders of the security agencies, thus the community members should cooperate with the police and the other security agencies to fish out the criminals in the various communities. The facilitator explained further that, the implementation of the security services will not solve only criminal issues but also disasters and accidents that may occur in the district.
The occasion was attended by the various stakeholders who contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project. A total of 20 participants were recorded of which 13 were males and 7 were females.
