The Afigya Kwabre North District Assembly in collaboration with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Collins Adomako-Mensah on Monday, 3rd July, 2023 commissioned a 2no. 10-seater water closet toilet with mechanized borehole and overhead tank at Penteng and Esaase.
The project seeks to achieve government’s agenda to eliminate open defecation by improving accessibility of toilet facilities and other sanitary conditions for all towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6.2).

The programme was implemented to create awareness on the importance of organizing mock examination for students at the JHS to prepare them for their final examination. This programme was used as a medium of educating all parents and guardians on the reasons why they should support their wards to participate in the mock examination.
