CENTRAL ADMIN: COMMISSIONING OF 2NO. 10-SEATER W/C TOILET AT PENTENG AND ESAASE

4th September, 2023

The Afigya Kwabre North District Assembly in collaboration with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Collins Adomako-Mensah on Monday, 3rd July, 2023 commissioned a 2no. 10-seater water closet toilet with mechanized borehole and overhead tank at Penteng and Esaase.
The project seeks to achieve government’s agenda to eliminate open defecation by improving accessibility of toilet facilities and other sanitary conditions for all towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6.2).
Both ceremonies held today were successful with stakeholders appreciative of the project and how it will serve a critical need in the lives of residents. The communities were entreated to ensure the facility is clean and well maintained.
