This is to be cautious in the activities that can cause disasters in the various communities. During the occasion the facilitator informed the members of the importance of carrying out the exercise as it spells out the areas that is likely to be affected by disasters and climate change. He said disasters like flood, earthquake and others are capable of destroying lives and properties. Therefore there is the need to identify these places and make the necessary strategies to safeguard the lives and properties of the inhabitants.
The facilitator tasked the NADMO and other officials to make it a duty to spot all the places that are prone to climate change and the various forms of disaster. He also educated the inhabitants of these places to be very vigilant and establish protective instruments that will serve as a barrier to disasters like flood. He further advised them not to settle on/ near places prone to disaster.
