NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION: Degradation Restoration and Awareness Creation Programmes

The programme was organized and implemented to educate the community members on the importance of protecting the environment and conserving the natural resources for future development. This is to enable the community members be acquainted with knowledge on the inappropriate and illegal usage of the natural resources in the various communities.
During the occasion the facilitator informed the members that, they should do well to protect their environment from both internal and external people who can deplete the natural resources of the communities. He said the community members should work hard to restore degraded resources like the forest. He said further that, the environment we live has a lot to offer the communities and the country at large and must be protected for the future and better development.
The occasion was attended by the various stakeholders who contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project. A total of 43 participants were recorded of which 25 were males and 18 were females.
The meeting started at 9:40am and closed at 12:15pm.
