EDUCATION: BECE candidates to partake in mock exams

The programme was implemented to create awareness on the importance of organizing mock examination for students at the JHS to prepare them for their final examination. This programme was used as a medium of educating all parents and guardians on the reasons why they should support their wards to participate in the mock examination.
During the occasion, the facilitator informed the members that, the District Assembly and the various stakeholders of education has decided to organize mock examination for the Junior High School students to improve their academic prowess and prepare them better for the BECE ahead. He said, this will help the students be familiar with the modes of answering questions to avert deviation of question at the examination hall. He informed all parents and guardians that, it is the dream and vision of the education service, district Assembly and other stakeholders of the district that Afigya Kwabre North comes first in the region after the end of the final exams.
The occasion was attended by the various stakeholders who contributed massively in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project.
A total of eighty nine (89) participants attended the programme from the various communities with 51 being males and 38 being females.
The meeting started at 10:30am and closed at 12:35pm.
