The programme was organized with the aim of improving and developing the local economic activities in the district and the country as a whole. This can be done through the policy of organizing training for the people in activities that will promote their economic life as well as the local economy.
The facilitator informed the members that the issue of poverty and unemployment has become the waving flag in the country which indeed is the desire of the government and the various Assemblies to sweep away this mess. In view of this this policy was initiated to provide enough jobs to the people and at far promoting local economic development.
He added that this opportunity is a lifetime legacy as it falls under the everyday necessity of life and thus members should make good use of such an opportunity. A total of 21 participants with the inclusion of the various stakeholders attended the programme from the various communities with 11 being males and 10 being females.
