The programme was organized and implemented to inform the community members about the availability of support for communities who have started a self-help project and needs support from the Assembly. This is program informed members that since the Assembly cannot in its capacity provide all the infrastructural needs of every community, it is of outmost importance the community through communal labour and donations from NGOs and relatives abroad can start a project for themselves, and this opens way for the community to inform the Assembly of such project and can call for help to continue with the project.
The facilitator informed the members that, the Assembly is ready to assist the various communities with building materials such as cements, roofing sheets, iron rods and any building materials to help in the development of a particular project. He added homes that have been consumed by floods and other disasters will also receive items to help them continue with life.
The facilitator further encouraged the members to continue with the self-help projects and continuously calls for help from the Assembly to help in the infrastructural development in the various communities. The occasion was attended by the various stakeholders who contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the projects.
