HEALTH: Public Education on Maternal and Child Health

This was used to unveil the challenges associated in child birth and the health life of the people of the said community.
During the programme, the facilitator informed the members that, child birth is an indelible thing in the everyday lives. He said, it is very expedient to make child birth more protective, attractive and problem free for all women and to say NO to maternal challenges in the district. With this, the district assembly has decided to construct and rehabilitate all maternity blocks in the district to promote and secure the lives of pregnant mothers and new born babies.
The facilitator explained that, the CHPs compound at Amponsahkrom is rehabilitated to help improve health service delivery to prevent people from traveling to other communities outside the district.

The occasion was graced by the various stakeholders who contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the activity. The occasion was attended by the various stakeholders who supported massively in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the activity. A total of eighty five (85) participants attended the programme from the various communities with 49 being males, 36 being females.
