CENTRAL ADMIN: Stakeholder engagement

This program was organized and implemented to assess the action plans and activity reports from the various departments/units as well as area councils and other stakeholder organizations who works in cooperation with the Assembly. This is also to inform the members present that, the activities of the Assembly is not done haphazardly but in a well-planned manner.
During the occasion, the facilitator informed the various area councils, departments/ Units and the other stakeholders to continuously prepare their action plans for every administrative year and advised them to write reports on every activity they organized or implement. He added that, the reports from the stakeholders and departments/units is very essential as it gives much insight and information on whatever is going on the field. He said, reports from the works department and revenue unit gives much understanding on the challenges faced by the revenue collectors and the inspectorate unit in the discharge of their duties.
All stakeholders were involved in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of this programme A total of 48 participants attended the programme from the various communities with 26 being males and 22 being females.
The meeting started at 10:05am and closed at 3:29pm.
