Education and hazard mapping are tools used to mitigate or prevent the effects of man - made and natural disasters. The NADMO office visited selected communities within the district to inspect, advice and educate landlords/landladies and tenants alike on all activities or situations that borders on human safety and progress.
During the visit, thirty (30) households, 86 males and 109 females were contacted. Areas of major concern included:
How they dispose off their rubbish and sewage.
The condition of buildings or structures and whether they should be inhabited, demolished or maintained.
Their disaster emergency plans.
Location of their building or structure whether it’s in a water way or a waterlogged area and for those staying close to water bodies, how well they have maintained such water bodies.
Activities of animal breeders were also checked.
For each of the aforementioned issues identified, education and caution were issued to households with such issues and such households promised to work on their situations.
Birth and Death Unit is responsible for issuing of Birth and Death certificate to individuals within and outside the District.

Zoomlion Ghana Limited is in charge of managing solid waste at all public places in the District
Establishment of Schools and allocation of Funds to Persons with Disability in the District.
Any individual or registered entity/organization wishing to operate a business within the District should operate under approved licence by the Assembly.
Land Allocation and Demarcation. Providing Building Permit to qualified applicant within the District.
