The programme was organized and implemented to provide potable water facilities for the various communities where access to potable water is increasingly becoming a problem. This will help reduce the pressure on the existing but few boreholes in the various communities in the district.
During the program, the facilitator informed the participants about the decisions and strategies of the Assembly to make sure access to potable water becomes no problem in the various communities in the district. He added that, this initiative will not end until communities in the district lacks potable water no more and also its quantity reaches maximum.
The various stakeholders contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project. A total of 39 participants attended the programme from the various communities with 23 being males and 16 being females. Out of this were 2 people with disability.
The meeting started at 12:15pm and ended at 2:27pm.
