WORKS:PUBLIC EDUCATION ON RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

The programme was organized and implemented to inform the members of the need to maintain the Boamang community center in good shape for numerous purposes. This will help used the structure for all recreational purposes for the betterment of the members of the community.

During the occasion, the facilitator informed the community that, the district Assembly is there to serve and perform its core mandate which also includes recreational activities. He said, the assembly has taken up the rehabilitation of the community centre to help make it more functional for all social gatherings such as funeral rites, weddings, engagement ceremonies, parties etc. He further informed them of the revenue benefits the district assembly will gain from the facility.

He advised the various community members to adapt a good maintenance culture to always keep the facility in good shape. The various stakeholders contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the programme. A total of seventy eight (78) participants attended the programme from the various communities with 42 being males and 36 being females.
