THE DCE FOR AFIGYA KWABRE NORTH DISTRICT LEADS THE PRESIDENTIAL ADVISOR ON HEALTH, DR. ANTHONY NSIAH-ASARE AND HIS TEAM TO INSPECT THE ONGOING PROJECT OF AGENDA 111 AT BOAMANG

On the 27th September, 2024 the DCE for Afigya Kwabre North, Hon. Kwasi Karikari Achamfuor led the Presidential Advisor on Health Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare and his team to the site of Agenda 111 to inspect the ongoing project.
Dr. Nsiah-Asare said the project when completed will significantly deepen delivery of quality healthcare at the district and boost access to healthcare services for the good people of Afigya Kwabre North towards ensuring the attainment of the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal.
The project has various units which include; patient reception and processing area, administration, pharmacy, laboratory, physiotherapy, public health, accident and emergency unit, wards for surgical and paediatric cases, maternity block etc.
Dr. Nsiah-Asare after the inspection commended the engineers as well as the workers for the good work done. He appealed to Hon. DCE to provide 5 extra acres of land for other facilities such as extra accommodation for the hospital staff, ensuring a complete medical Village.
In an interview with the media after the inspection, Hon. Kwasi Karikari Achamfuor, expressed satisfaction at the work done so far and entreated the contractors to keep to the timelines to ensure early completion of the project as it has reached 60% completion.
Present were other members of the Agenda 111 project implementation Committee.
